Just got a gx 65, I was wondering how good are they range wise on ka? other bands....
How does this gps work on it as of locking thing out.

Right now, you have to decide whether you want the best radar, or a GPS
The GPS units do not have the best radar, why I dont know, I only know my experience.
If you want a GPS, get it as a 2nd unit. get an V1, Redline or STI, turning x band off on these they are very quite, few areas use Xband
