    Well I ordered the STI R Plus. I will have plenty of video of it's performance

    Congrats!! This unit is a beast in every single video I've seen; hope it treats you well!!

    Also, just curious, does anyone know why Beltronics made the decision to pull the plug on the original Sti-R? I believe it was $599 and I would think there would still be a market for a high performance, affordable concealed unit like that. Even though the Sti-R Plus is obviously more feature packed, it's definitely out of many people's price range at $1199.

    Sti-R was 1100. The 600 was merely a clearance price to get rid of inventory. Allegedly, sales werne't strong.

    Haha ok well that makes sense as to why it didn't do too well. Kind of shocking though that they decided to sell the Sti-R+ for only $100 more considering all of the additional features it packs.
