RX65 Question

I just started using it today after using the 8500 for over a year. I rode by places that I know set the X50 off and the RX65 went off but it didn't alert as fast. I'm wondering if this is a good thing as is it filtering out all these "garbage" signals or is there a problem with the detector? I'm probably just being overly cautious but I don't want to find out something the hard way. Responses are appreciated...J

It is probably just filtering better. Do you have any signs that display your speed? Measure its performance this way not by false alarms

Were you using AutoScan mode or Highway?

The RX65 is known to not alert as "loud" or high as the X50 with the same radar.

SPEEDYJ, do you still have your X50? If so, run through those same areas with both using one at a time and see what the reception time/distance is.
