The front end (Horn & LO board) is the same as the RX65(M4) and has the same FCCID.

The V995 has the same performance as the RX65 in International mode. The RX65 has an extra display option (Threat Display) which is really not all that useful.........both have Spec display.

However, the RX65 has USA mode which segments Ka band (33.8, 34.7 and 35.5) and kills RDR.

Performance wise, this is like putting a super charger on a naturally aspirated engine. Faster right out of the hole and higher trap speeds.......or more correctly, quicker response times and better range.

One of the best answer to a question I have had about a radar detector I ever heard.

You've got an amazing starter detector. Should be good for +10 to +15 PSL depending on terrain, rabbits, and I/O. It is something you can trust.
