Got a E 795.....

I got a E795 after returning my radio shack RD. It has been a week and I havnt encountered a LEO or a speed trap! But What I am dissappointed about it is that E 795 falses at the same locations as my Radioshack one did(X,K,Ka)!!!!! :x I do feel that 795 has a better range than my older RD, but the falses.....Grrrrrr!!!!
Do you guys think that I should return thisunit and get a Different E795 and may be I will get lucky like airmoore or boomerman and get a freak unit? They must have made more freaks than just two?

Yeah I sure hope for your sake they made some freak units besides mine and Boomermans... Hey if your LED's are messed up... KEEP IT! its a freak like mine!

The E795 falses on Ka exactly same place as Radioshack one! Is there a possiblity that one of the doors there uses ka band frequency? May be there door is out of sync or something?

where does it false Ka? near an automatic door?

I know some detectors mistake K for Ka but I never heard about the 795 falsing on ka

Yeah it is near an automatic door. So it must be mistaking the K band and displaying it as Ka. I will keep it under obervation for few more days and then decide to exchange it or keep it. will keep u all updated.

When I went to return it, I found out I was 2 weeks past the return period. :x

Return it before it's too late! You should not have to live with Ka falses. Doing so will eventually condition you to ignore them...LEO or not.

I guess they just dont make them like they used to.

the 795 can false on KA band i can go to bestbuy there are all kinds of door openers that run on k and i think x to but if i stay there for a min or less or pass bye the store right in front of them i can get my e795 to go off on KA band but thats the only spot it will go off on ka band so far
fasle alert.my x50 does not do it but as you know the x50 is 1class in filtering KA band false alerts then second the v1 :wink:
