STi vs. V1 for laser

I've been looking around and cant seem to find the answer to how the Bel STi compares to V1 in picking up Laser. There are a few other questions I had about STi also that I cant seem to find elsewhere. What are the main differences between RX65 and STi? I live in an area that I dont need stealth for RD's arent illegal. So besides this, what real advantage does STi give to someone like me? I've never purchased from big companies (bel, valentine, escort) so I'm not sure which one is 'better' from personal experience. Another important thing for me is Laser detection. I know that V1 has been leader in this for quite some time now, but seeing as how the STi is new, did they improve any on this aspect from the RX65 and if so, by how much? I cant really think of any other questions at this time but thanks in advance.

Yeah the STi is gone by a longshot... the closest detector (if you want to call it that) is the X50.
