Seller on eBay selling new/factory-sealed STi Magnums for $395 (shipped). Includes 1-year warranty (exchange) through their own company. Positive feedback of 99.8% (over 8500 reviews).

$100 off retail. Not bad. Best price I've seen on the net.

I do believe Bel made changes lately in Magnum to improve it, raised the price to same as Redline. Cheaper units may be older and not have newest improvements. Make sure an authorized seller.

Completely agree. That was a main factor why I went w/ the Pro 300 instead of the eBay STi Magnum (even for that amazing price). Peace of mind is worth more than a $100 savings IMO.

Cliff raises a good point. I had to send mine in for warranty just a few weeks ago. Doesn't leave the warm fuzzies in my tummy about a $500? detector, less than a year old...

i love my bel 300. the testing from that ECCTG company showed the 300 performing poorer than i expected. i dont put too much in that 1 test. i know this pro300 is better than my old rx65, better than my m4, and s7 bel995v, and it is excellent on everyband and double the k band range from the previous rx65. bottom line its a great unit. off axis rocks as well. enjoy.
ive seen the magnum and its used, and sure still good im sure but get the new 300 is smart and youll love it.

If you buy a detector from an unauthorized reseller and it ever needs service, you'll be SoL. Belscort won't service detectors purchased from a non-authorized reseller. I've easily owned over 10 of their detectors. At least 5 have required service over the course of their life. You may save upfront, but you can also get an inferior product, knock off, etc. Not worth it in my book, but to each his own.

Radar Busters had the STi Magmun on sale for 469 not too long ago. Keep an eye open for that. Use promo code RADARROY for a 10% discount and free shipping.
