Beltronics STI Magnum is it good in europe?

STI Magnum is it any good in europe? my country mostly uses K-band, the other bands are not important. K-band is it normal version or Super K-band? My old V995 international detector red K-band on 24.15 Mghz and Ka-band on 34.36 Mghz. I would like to know if STI Magnum is any good in europe when it doen't have Ku band? If to compare STI Magnum vs Escort Redline which one to buy? Do they share same electronics and therefore doesn't matter which one to buy? Pondering if I should get a V1 or Beltronic?

thanks for your input, however detectors in my country are banned like plague. I have to buy them abroad. I thought Redline and STI shared the same electronics? You recommend Redline over STI although both came from the same company? Are both being manufactured in Canada? Do both have upgrade possibilities? Is it ship to factory for upgrade or is it by downloading new software from official site? I only want the best detector, REDLINE - STI Magnum - V1 nothing else. Therefore I would like to know if Redline or STI Magnum are europe friendly. Thanks

yeah, I'd like to have one of those, too bad it's very expensive. a V1 or either Bel/Escort will do fine for me.

I have ask the Neltronics HK, 2 days ago ~ THEY DON'T HAVE IT !! My STi Magnum was bought Aug 2012 ( which 4 months ago only ) But they said that there is no upgrade ~ either don't sell lthe STi Magnum ( I ) ~

~ I also ask how to check SW version on STi Magnum? They said: Do a reset ! Will show ~But as doing a normal reset won't show SW version on Magnum, that's why i'm asking ~ they said: only they know how to check it ~
suggest that I should use a RX65 (i) , which they said better than my STi Magnum!

I told them I have it already ~

Please advise on: (1) method of checking Magnum SW version ?
(2) STi Magnum upgrade to ( I ) ? Via Escort Live OTA ~ ??

Jeffrey I used ( STi Magnum + RX65i ) only Turn ON ~ K + Ka
Magnum have quicker response time ~ RX65i have better Range Sensitiviity ~
