Just another day in the life and nothing but blue skies and sun. Over on US1, just past the intersection around a curve my bel pro300 35.5ka frequency alerted. Telling me instantly the type gun being used is what the motorcyle cops in vero beach carry(hand held 35.5ka and hand held prolaser3) Every now and then the vero pd uses mainly 34.7ka...but the motorcops uses the 35.5ka guns. So i began to slow as approaching the corner. Truly amazing coverage on my pro300 on all bands. Huge increase on k band and huge increase on ka bands and the range is superb. almost zero falsing on ka band. if its not a cop using his ka band radar, then the rd remains silent. Very good detector...the best. Or in the best conversation. As going around the curve i see the motorcycle finally as the ramp up went appropiately from ka 3 to ka7,8, 9, accordingly. Past him is his partner(the one shooting laser all day) and already had someone pulled over, at this time i also killed my jammers till i was through this section. Im getting in better habits around town so not to have any reasons why i couldnt kill the jammers faster. Because one thing about these bad boys(Li) is they work and workj very well. Thank goodness they wont set any jam codes off as no kustom units do(not sure about prolaser4)
anyways, all in all a very good day and very happy with my quiet pro300. it wakes up and screams when it sniffs out police radar, other than that...perfection. no tickets since 1999. Thanks to bel,(bel laserpro904,905) escort(zr3), blinder(m27), and now laserintercepter.dual 8.9 sensors 8.12 firm/voice. I see once again your detector isn't getting quite the attention it appears to deserve at the brand x forums from your posts about it's great performance but hay if you were sporting their newest and greatest self proclaimed achiever there then everyone would be all ears.

Funny, we have someone right here that want to throw his x50 into the dust bin for it's outstanding performance isn't it?

Yes it is funny. But the way I look at it is my unit a bad unit or a really good one. Mine is a really good one. I know this by seeing the performance. Ive seen some videos where the sti magnum driver seems to alert about the same as my pro300 so as long as i am ticket free with pro300, theres no reason for me to buy another detector. I am thinking of buying 2 more jammers this week to make a quad but buying the stidriver just isnt my style and to justify the money it costs isnt worth it to me especially when my unit rocks. I have had bad bel 995(m4) had good 995 bels(s7) and everything in between. Im just lucky to have gotten a good hot unit. Im sure there are bad units out there-like at the testing event. if they let me use my radar for the pro300, results would be different. Some of there units they use are owned by members. I think when doing testing they should all be new. none that are "other members" period. I mean then the results are skewed but thats me.

i have bel pro300.is a good good unit quite in city ,,,,for ka 35.5 ..35.7 c/o exellente detector ,,, this boy detect 1mile+ far away ....nice unit

yes well i determined after 60 mile test drive with zero false alerts and plenty of range in 33.8 and 34.7, 35.5ka bands along with a 2.5 mile luxury on k band(at least) depending if around any curves,but for most part i enjoy this range with k band. Ka band gives me 2.0miles. given any band reacts different but for the most part even with instant on so long as theres a car in front of me, my pro300 sees the ka bursts and stop in plenty of time.
i went ahead and put it in pop on mode and i hear from people dont use p[op, it will make the other ka bands weaker well i havent seen this happening to my pro300 yet and will keep pop on just in case i run into k band pop or ka pop. they are used in florida. i know odds are rare, but i keep now pop on highways, road trips. tsr off(not used here in florida, and dont wanna delay with added fiultering even though k band is in 1 town to my south and the rest of the area is laser and ka units)
unless the pop starts falsing all the time, im leaving it on on highway trips. It has got much better with respect to falsing on pop. my old 995 would false all the time.
To the other person-i am comparing the pro300 to the last rx65 from bel(traded for the new pro300 when they announced it 22 days after my rx65 purchase and had the bel 995 for yrs before this.firm 6.5) last june 2012. i got this new pro300 before they even released it to the public or anyone. very low serial number and a hot unit. no sws and other things on this pro300 that others have. maybe thats why this performance is so good. i dunno. i just know how good at sniffing ka band and k band and laser out its incredible. between this and my laserinterceper duals, i feel so protected when i do need to get somewhere in a hurry and the roads clear.
