    Default MUST WATCH SHOOTOUT: Non Seg STi-R v 9500ci v Seg STi-R+ v BSRDR RL v 34.7 I/O

First real-world test of it's kind coming: Battle of the BIG DOGS versus selective I/O 34.7Ghz Ka-band, total of 2 runs: 1st encounter forward facing; 2nd encounter facing away. Most intense and genuine encounter I have experienced yet, nearly cost me dearly.

Will publish after upload is complete to STH's YouTube Channel.

Beltronics STiR STiR Plus Passport 9500ci BSRDR Escort Redline 34 7 Ka IO Forward Facing Facing Away

Beltronics STiR STiR Plus Passport 9500ci BSRDR Escort Redline 34 7 Ka IO Forward Facing Facing Away - YouTube

It's been a long while that I've made a Speed Trap Hunter video and I am rusty and a little careless on this one. I misjudged location of IO and it nearly cost me dearly for doing about 20-25 over posted limit of 65mph zone in NJ where speeding fines are doubled.

I believe this be the first test of its kind, comparing the 4 TOP DOG M3s from Escort and Beltronics.

    Radar Detectors:

    • Far Left: No-Segmented Beltronics STi-R, Sensitivity: Highway, Far Left Lower Bumper, Unobstructed
    • 2nd from Far Left: Escort Passport 9500ci, Sensitivity: Highway Center Lower Bumper, Unobstructed
    • Far Right: Segmented/RDR Beltronics STi-R+, Sensitivity: Highway, Right Lower Bumper, Unobstructed
    • Windshied: Band-Segmented/RDR Escort Redline, Sensitivity: Highway, Low-Mounted, Unobstructed

    Radar Source:

    • Very Selective Forward Facing 34.7Ghz Instant-on (I/O) Ka Band
    • Very Selective Rear Facing 34.7Ghz Instant-on (I/O) Ka Band
    • Targeter: Single, NJ State Trooper

    Test parameters:

    • Targeted: Speed Trap Hunter (ie; yours truly)
    • Target Vehicle: '99 Dinan 540iS BMW
    • Target Speed: 80-90mph
    • Posted Limit: 65mph
    • Penalty: Fines Doubled and Damned Expensive in NJ, Points Accessed, Increased Insurance Premiums

    • Weather: 71F/48% RH Sunny,Clear
    • Location: Left Lane, N/S A/C Expressway, Southern NJ
    • Video Format: HD, 720p, H.264
    • Video Source: Kodak Zi8
    • Notes: RAW, Unedited Footage, Inter-radar detector Interference Likelihood: None
    • Music: Damien Marley
    • Music Streaming Source: Rhapsody, Top Track List
    • Test Certifier Name: Stella
    • Test Certifier Current Employment Position: Vice President, Test Certifications, Veil Corporation
    • Test Certifier Previous Employment Position: Associate Vice President, Reseller Channel Operations, Veil Corporation
    • Test Certifier Reason for Promotion: Successfully Built & Managed Veil's Healthy Value Added Reseller Channel
    • Test Certifier Breed: Pit Bull
    • Test Certifier Previous Employment: Pit Bull Rescue Society, Abandoned, Stray
    • Test Certifier Result: Outcome Determination: VERY CLOSE WIN, BUT NEARLY HUNTED
    • Test Certification Authentication Credentials: Unmatched Integrity, Loyalty, and Character and I am not Going to Argue with Her. What Stella Says, Goes.
Warning: (Feel free to, but you have to do this in person and with supervision, as she kicks a$$ and takes names.)
