Are there any people out there that are selling a Bel STIR NOT the Bel STIR PLUS ??? I have a feeling the Bel STIR is probably not available like it use to be but have to be someone out there.

^ You have good taste in Radar Detectors.
They are very rare as production stopped in Oct. of 2009.
Once in a while you might see one (usually used) on eBay or a Forum.

Funny you should ask,there was one N.I.B. (new-in-box) over the 4th of July weekend F.S. on eBay.
It was snapped up quickly !

I bet they are hard to find. I am glad I got mine, LOL< as we say back in the day. Thing is awesome. It and my V1 battle to see who is first. I would never sell it.

Two year ago I sold mines, and now I'm looking for another one. If I would of know about the one that sold on ebay a month ago I would of brought it in seconds. Well if you guys here anything or know someone please just let me know.

The "Heart" of the Orig. STi-R now resides in only ONE detector today.If you want a detector every bit the equal,then get the Escort REDLINE !!!

I'm going to have to buy a Redline with Escort Live. I have watch many videos over the past few days about Escort Live and I really do think it has the potential to change the game within the Radar detector community. I specially think when it comes to Laser detection, being alerted miles ahead with out any laser jammers for a driver this is a Godsend. To perfectly be honest I find the Escort Live can be better than Laser Jammers for one reason and one reason only. You are being alerted before you are the target, just like a radar detector. A Laser Jammer (which is also good of course) tell you that you are the target (more than likely) and slow down.

The main problem with Escort Live is that there are not enough subscribers to the service, but I have heard within the last year the subscriptions for the service has grown dramatically. When more people start to join, than this devise will be a game changer .



I know there are plenty of people out there that love Laser Jammers, but all i ask which one do you prefer ?? Which one would you choose with this scenario ?

Escort LIVE has it own problems.You should go over to the Escort Forum & see what their users have to say about it for yourself.
A much better service to use & FAR MORE active users on the roadways for pre-warning fellow drivers is WAZE.
Redline is the KING of RD's ! (just make sure it has the upgrade firmware BS/RDR in it)

The most complaints that I have run into when it deals with the Escort Live are when the App come in contact with Radar the App usually crashes or freezes (i did my research). I have heard that Escort Live has come out with another updated version on Google Play. If the new updated version can fix the problem in combination with more subscribers this is a good thing.

I have done a lot of research about the App Waze (something I knew nothing about until you mention RRedRocket). I have to admit I like every single thing about this App and I will start using it today and it is free.
