What RD's Banned in WA!! No there not! Don't ever say that! Everything is going to be just fine. There are not taking my baby away from me. Happy thoughts. Happy thoughts! There is no EVIL WA road safety council. Roy is coming, Roy is coming. He will destroy all our enemies!

One can only hope that the beaurocrats keep their sticky little fingers off of your freedom to own & operate RDs.

But I wouldn't hold my breath, its already happened in every other state.

    Even in Gods country (QLD that is!!!!) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

It's very good. I like the euro mode as in the city use 'u' mode which only allows KA on 34.3 and laser. I just have to press the main button and it goes to 'U' mode which turns on K mode as well for the country. So that is a great set up. In euro mode the v1 gets more range on my rx65 very noticable. So I have to be happy with that. It does false more on Ka than my 65 which is a bit of a downer. Worth getting it though. I can't wait to get a STI and run it head to head with the v1 against the multanova's that will be a good show down. I was just thinking if Bel take the trouble to make a STI into a aus version 'XR'. They should have selectable KA frequencies like the v1 does with a noticable range increase on KA. I think it is just the badging though?

Yeah, pretty sure it's just the badging. The specs on all the AU websites are EXACTLY the same as the specs in the US, they just don't include X band, but I'll bet it's still there.

Can't wait for my STi, if all goes well should have it in a week and a half. Roy should be getting his shipment this week, but, alas, that has changed several times since January

ah I saw you went the Blinder 20 as well Huh! Got to get one of those soon I think. I might wait till april for the tests. Also from what i have read the Blinders are the best overall but it would be nice to have it plug into the bel so might look at the Bel 905. They use LTI's over here so hard to jam from what I have read. Oh and your CC statement will be found there is no hope hiding it I have tried and is very hard to explain those expensive little toys that just irritate any female in the car. They just don't GET IT!

Mate, made a hard decision and cancelled my order of the Blinder and have already ordered and paid fpr the AL 6.5.

"supposedly" the best thing on the market at the moment.

I am inquiring about an extra head/sensing unit right now, I think having two heads will be far better than the one.

AU/NZ on a detector is a marketing ploy to raise the amount of $$$$.
    Get one from Roy.
And yes it has been tested with a Stalcar RDD3, and is not detectable.

exactly what Stalcar said...it is a marketing bullshyte by Neltronics etc in WA.

Roy sells the exact same detector for less than half the price!
