I've got the Bel XR950au/nz and Blinder M40. I've had this setup for just over a month, and mate, it'z wicked. The pickup range on the detector is excellent, in heavy traffic and out in the whoppz. Since I've had it, is has never given me a faulse alert. When in the 200kp/h club, the M40 is most handy when driving on the motorways. This is the only place the cops use Laser guns over here, most of the time anyway. It's very reasuring having this setup, it has saved my hyde on all occasions.

my X50 is also picking up multanovas at the last 30 metres, i am sure they have changed something, damn, however i do pick up every bloody cheap leaking detector from 2k's away, jesus wept, i am gonna brain somebody

Thats the beauty of the new STi, the software fix should overcome those 'leaky' RDs with the performance equal if not better than the X50

I can't wait, counting the days now until my STi arrives. My AL 6.5 should arrive on Monday or Tuesday with the STi late next week or early the week after 8) 8) 8) 8)

You can buy whatever you like, I couldn't care less what you do, if I was in WA I would probably go for the V1, but hey thats up to you :roll:

i wonder how the v1 rates against the rear firing speed detectors. i would imagine not too well. the game comes to an end i am afraid.
