how to disassemble Bel Vector detector

I need to know a way to disassemble an old Bel 990 international detector. The case arround display makes a lot of troubles...
I think there is a trick to take out that "frame"

Problem solved. Yes, it is tricky to open an Vector detector. Also I solved Lo3 and markers message that appear. Age and heat creates all problems on that board. Who need help please PM me.

I've got the exact same problem. Can you let me know how you got the detector open? I've got the external screws undone, but can't see how to pop the casing open. I don't want to force it and break the clips. Any advice much appreciated!
