I like my 995 alot, only downside is that there seems to be alot of false K band alarms.
Other then that, I haven't had a ticket in the year I have had it, and I drive about 140 miles roundtrip a day.

Mine (895) pegs all the time when I am near the source (about 300 feet or so)Originally Posted by tsapilot
Since you seem to be most concerned with performance, I would get the RD that is best for the bands in your area. If Maryland still has a lot of K and X, the V1 is best.Originally Posted by pratzert
If you already have a V1, the X50 would be a good backup. I have both and like different things about them. I also had an original 8500 that I never had any problems with (until it was stolen!). The X50 has great features and is very flexible. I've never used the RX65 so I can't comment about it.
Are you guys sure the Bel X65 M4 doesn't filter K in auto scan? From what I have seen I think it does. When I am in town and I am getting a lot of K falses I switch to auto scan and the RD goes slient. Also, the M4 running 6.1 software does peg if you get close to the radar source. I have tested this many times.
Don't know about the M4, but the Bel 895 doesn't filter out K band in AutoScan.Originally Posted by carboncopy
