RX65 selfcal4 service required

I have had my RX65 for 16 months now, purchased through the local agent (I'm in New Zealand) and it has faulted with this error selfcal4 service required . I am told by the local agent that it is not able to be fixed. Seems like a pretty expensive paper weight ($700 over here) ? Any idea's if this is correct ?

more like he doesnt want to fix it m8, i have had mine say self cal, I sent it back and fixed no problems.

Take it back to him and tell him that he is a idiot and it can be fixed.

Or just send it directly back to bel and they will fix it for you.

Im in NZ as well. Have had it happen to 3 units now.....

The reason they say over here is leaving the unit in the car on a hot day, which buggers them.

Now I chuck it under the seat when I hop out of the car (im in NOrthland and it gets bloody hot)

Mine was replaced each time under (the two year) warranty.

My ones have ended up saying 'service required' over and over again until I get ****ty with it...it gets worse as time goes on.

Take it back under warranty!
