    snap, I didn't even look to see you had no chrome. When I posted originally I had been up for 35 hours without any sleep.

    The problem audis are so tough is because your front end is so flat. Mix that in with the decent size headlights and its disaster for a jammer.

    My roommates s4 without VEIL made the jammer basically useless at anything over 1000ft. Once you get around 700ft or so the blinder does pretty good. But once you cross the 250 ft barrier you'll really need the VEIL again.

    GOL = Guysoflidar.com

    I'll do a New England Audiworld jammer test day at a future GTG.

    Are your side mirror polished or Chrome?

    You'll need a transponder for those too................IMHO.

    I'd go center grille ( OOOO ) above the red marks you posted in your photo.
    near the lights. No front plate helps you.

    Side mirrors are brushed aluminum with the soft 3M X-Pel film over them. The rings and grill surround are also covered in a soft, ship resistant X-Pel type spray..

    I am thinking the Blinder might not be for me after-all. If the best place to put the transponder is in the grill...given it's size it would require cutting the grill so the transponder can poke through unobstructed. I am not willing to cut the hood grill. It would look like arse...

    I have seen a Lidatek install right in the denter of one of the rings..but the transponder size is different and fits pretty neatly in there.

    No worries.... Truth be told, the front end of the Audi S4 is quite round... You might be thinking of a different model line.

    I am wondering about the same things you are. I am not sure how Im going to do things so that Im sure that Im not getting busted. I dont want my lights to look like **** either, and I still have the crome in the front. The "problem" with the GOL guys video is that they have a car with no plate on, and its state law here in Wisconsin to use that, so I wonder how the result would be with the plate. I also saw a different movie where the blinders did not work at all over 1000 feet, and then they kicked in. They fixed this by using VEIL, but once again. No plate in the front.

    If you are worried about a front plate get a non-reflective replica. PM Happya$$ he knows where to get them You give them your licence plate #'s and they make you an exact replica that does not reflect!
