    Default Roys recommendation for me..

Well since i'm overseas and it's hard to be able to call folks back in the U.S due to the time difference,i sent Roy an e-mail since there has been such a landfall of info on here the last few weeks it's hard to really read thru it all to ask him what he would recommend for me since my eyeballs are shot.He recommended the Blinder M-20xtreme for my vehicle in NY.

Thanks peeps.I switched my mind from the Lidatek to the Blinder or Zr3.I know the Zr3 is a great jammer,i just don't like the big display box,and with the weather in upstate Ny in the winter, the heads would take a pounding. With the Blinder setup,i can just order replacement lenses and the interior notification isn't obtrusive..Next project is to buy the wife her new ride and then integrate the V1 concealed display into the dash ..

i have heard that the display box inside for the zr3 isnt big at all..kinda like the mis-conseption of the V1...they look bigger than they actually are.

I have the Zr3 in my ride. The weather in Chicago can be very harsh in the winter, my Zr3 heads have endured very well.

The display is not big at all.

Hmmm, guess i need to go and see the Zr3 in person to see how big the control box is.I'm picky about our interior and don't like things outta place.I prefer a nice quality flush install compared to a box sitting there..Since i work with fiberglass alot,i think i may have to fabricate a sort of intergrated fiberglass housing for the V1 remote display..Sooo many decisions

The Zr3 had to pack the volume knob, speaker, power LED, front alert LED, rear alert LED and the auto dim sensor into the display, so I agree it does have a different look than the Blinder.

I mounted my display on the side of the center counsel, just above the carpet in the shadow of the dash. My Zr3 is linked to my X50 so I don't ever need to look at the display, but if I did, I just look down and can see it, however it is out of view of anyone else.
