blinder head verification?

greetings,

if i were to have a blinder head from an older model m20 and a recent model m20, how would i be able to tell them apart as i understand that the old units (heads) do not work well if at all in the new blinder interface.

What are the s/n and rev numbers of the old heads? That should be some indicator.
