I didn't know Blinder heads had a top and bottom. I thought cable to the inside, sensor to the outside.

    Same thing.

If it's upside down and the cable is out. flip it over, and the cable goes in.

I guess I misunderstood. But if a head can be flipped over there is no top and bottom.

I thought the same but after getting punch through at 2000 ft it was ok after the next 250 ft or so did a few runs(doing some minor angling of the heads) same results.I then took out the heads and noticed the wires were on the same side switch over the one head and bam! JTG or punch through at approx 50-100ft.

When I installed mine I made sure the writing on the back wasn't upside down. I think it's common sense.

I posted this on my results on what was done on my car, when you get the blinder units 1 tab on each are out and from the front they are symmetrical the possible chances of them being upside down is very possible,so if anyone is installing im just noting that there is a difference.

Does Blinder have specific "left" and "right" heads so they both need to be mounted right side up? I haven't seen a Blinder head up close yet but my friend got a M27 recently that I'll be helping him install soon, and I don't want to install the heads the wrong way.

Not according to the install manual. Just put the cord in and the sensors out.

Once Raydee changed his head placement, I could only get punchthrough at around 75-100' He did a nice job re-adjusting.
