    Default '07 Tundra recommendations

    Hi guys,

I'm currently researching my options for the blinders and not sure what would be the best choice as far as models and mounting places on my truck.

I would love to have a front and back protection, however my truck has a lot of chrome not to mention that it's huge

    Any recommendations?

    Thanks,

PS. Below a couple of pics of tundra (not mine - internet found, but similar)

If you really are set on Blinders, then M40/M45 or nothing. And yes, that would be only for the front.

my dodge looks almost exactly like your toyota.(size, color, chrome, etc.) it has a blinder m40 installed and we will be testing it this weekend at the southeast regional. i'll post some of the results for you.

    Thanks!

It will be interesting I guess to see if JTG would be possible on those huge trucks of ours

Does anyone know how the new m45 compares in real world to the m40?

    Thanks again,

Laser results - keep in mind this was just a small test using a ProLaser II and my Dodge Hemi with a M20. yes i said m20. the first couple of runs we got JTG. then a couple of the guys figured out they could get PT on my passenger headlight. "although at a small distance". we shot it in the fast lane and got PT at +/- 400 feet one time but for the most part when running in the slow lane i eithor got JTG or PT at less than 200 feet. we ran one test where i had the cruise set at 75 and at first alert i tapped the breaks to shut off cruise and lifted on the throttle until i hit the psl of 55 before they could get a reading. i believe they said they got a reading of 55 at 194 ft. i have to say i was thrilled with the performance considering how large the vehicle is and the use of the m20 instead of an m40. i wouldnt hesitate to run an m40 on your truck as long as you take the time to install it properly. now im not saying it is the best at jamming or anything but it did work today better than i would have ever imagined.

WOW, that's pretty good with only two heads on such a huge truck.

As soon as I'll find a real pro who knows to begin with what a laser jammer is, and then who installed one before I think I'm going to jump on the m45 for the front and maybe m25 for the back? (I don't know that much about blinder systems but I sure know I want the front and back protection )

Thanks for letting us know about the test. I was affraid for a while that my truck is simply too huge for any jammer to work on it. You proved me I was wrong, and I thank you for that

One caveat here is that it seems the Blinder "0"-suffix jammers are rather quite adept at handling the PL-II, out of all things.

Look at the latest GOL results - the Blinder did fairly well in this area, despite its other shortcomings.

With the current low-price of "previous generation" (note here that the "5"-suffix Blinders would thus be exempt from this statement) LED-based jammers, my typical recommendation is that should one decide to have a look at them, one should pay special attention to their local enforcement tactics as well as the hardware used.

Should both of these considerations be favorable, an LED-based jammer may be a very good investment.

Look at erickonphoenix and his ZR3/SR7. That's my prime example.

Do not forget to use Veil. There is no way in hell I would use any jammer without Veil.

First off I would recomend a leather bra and painting your your chrome bumper!

Your best protection with a blinder product would be and M65, basically a M45 and an M25
