Also, just to add to my concerns above:

    1. The car tested has no front license plate. I'd say most of us need a front plate. I know I do.

    2. These Blinders are mounted out in the wide open, with what looks like absolutely no concern for stealthnicity. This isn't the way jammers are normally mounted, so trying to reproduce these results with normal mounting is at this point a definite unknown.

    3. This UL used for this testing had a difficult time getting a reading on a car with no jammer at all. While using the UL, I've personally been able to get speed readings easily on just about any car, regardless of color. I'm not making any accusations here, because anomolies happen. I'm just pointing out what I see as the potential problems with these videos.

Again, I'm not hating on the Blinders. I totally hope they kick booty. Every time the number of good laser jammers out there increases, that only improves the market for us consumers.

    djrams80,

I understand your concerns, but I have been testing with people like Mundy, and rsatman. rsatman is a LI guy who comes out and shoots the UL with me. As for targeting with the UL, it is one of the hardest guns for normal targeting. First its beam is much narrower than any Pro Laser III, which is the easiest gun to shoot, Also the UL has won more court cases in the line of lidar over any gun on the market, due to its almost perfect accuracy and almost error free lidar captures.. The LR UL is the same gun as the UL, the only difference is the LR has inclination ability and shoots further than the standard UL. You can find alot out about the UL just by reading your owners manual. As for installs, again not everyone cares about being stealthy. Yes the performance is alittle better when they are out in the open on a bumper. Thats what most customers want. Performance over a hidden head. As for license plates, most officers shoot center mass period. No need for the plate, unless you just want to capture their attention. The new Blinders are awesome and I hope they perform the same way at GOL's test. All of my test consist of both normal targeting and worst case senarios.

    Cheers

There have been plenty of tests done by members here and others showing systems doing fine against the UL and much worse against the PLIII, or Stalker or whatever. My point is, shooting your new Blinders with one gun, whatever gun it might be, is incomplete testing. If I, as just a regular Joe Schmoe, have access to any gun out there, you, as a distributor, must also. The fact that you continue to shoot your systems with just the one singular gun, raises questions for me. Also, the fact that I see people buying these on this board, from what I can only assume is based solely on these videos, I find troubling. This is a propaganda industry, repeatedly!

Maybe some customers, but definitely not all customers. I have seen hundreds of system install pictures posted by members here and none are nearly this blantantly in the open. To me, that means stealthnicity is a concern, especially for those consumers that live in illegal areas, such a myself. Surely your company's marketing strategy is not completely ruling out these people as potential customers. The performance seen by these customers is a complete unknown at this point.

No need for a plate? Really? Since most officers shoot center mass, and most states require a plate, why wouldn't you test the new Blinders with a front license plate installed? Just from personal experience, my since sold ZR3s had about 600ft average PTs against the UL with the plate installed and about 300ft average PTs without the front plate. The front plate is a huge factor in how likely it is that a LEO will get PT.

They might be, but I hope no one thinks that these videos are in any way a fair or complete test of your product.

There is no way I can agree with this statement. These videos are in no way normal targeting or worst case scenarios, but that's just one man's opinion.

Yes a front plate makes a HUGE difference and to this day I still kick myself in the head for not including one at our last GOL test in AZ

To show the world test results without one, raises concerns.

Just to play devils advocate, he is independently testing, and he is a rep, but GOL tests with the jammers on the bumper as stated before. I think he doesn't claim his tests are the be all to end all but as long as the product is not a super unit and basically off the shelf like consumers will buy, then the tests are better than no tests at all. He is not the manufacturer but a rep who sells other products.

Correct, but these vehicles are being presented to us as consumer's vehicles, yet they are not mounted like any consumer laser jammer's I've seen. Then, Steagall just told me this:

I say, this latest set of videos shows neither of these scenarios. My point is, sales reps are known show us jammers working better than they turn out work in the real world. I'm not convinced that this is not another one of those scenarios.

Anyone that has any interest in the sale or to a lesser degree, success, of the product cannot be considered independent. This includes manufacturers, reps, distributors, etc.

To claim as a sales rep/distributor that your tests are "independent" is just plain wrong. Doesn't mean the test is automatically not fair or bias...but based on the fact that you have a monetary interest in the product this cannot and should not be assumed.

With that being said, its great to see the video and I would encourage you to make more. But tell it to us like it is. We are all pretty knowledgeable here, we can see the weakness of the testing methods. But even with that, the success is still impressive and worth something.

I'd love to see it with some changes mentioned here. More guns, more realistic install, front plate...

    DougiesGoinDeep,

I have read what everyone has to say. That is fine and I have noted your concerns. It would be great to have all of you come out and test with me and rsatman, mundy, Jaykog, etc. I welcome anyone to test their theories and Note that in the great state of georgia, all the targeting you see us do on the J15's is how these officers shoot. Most officers in Real world senarios shoot center mass shots. If they cannot get your speed they move to the next vehicle. Some shoot head light shots. Now after noting that, I use the Ultralyte because it is one of the hardest guns for most jammers. It is the second most used gun in the state of georgia. The Pro Laser III being the first. Everyone has their opinions and I respect that. I appreciate everyones concern, but I will continue to test any jammer on the market and show video footage of how well it performed. Dealer/distributor or not, my results are always the same. No trick footage, or agenda!!! I test for fun and it is also a hobby of mine that I enjoy.

    Cheers
