Default Blinder M25's Performance in GOL 2008

You know I have been thinking how good the Blinder M25 J15 really did. Without looking at the past number in deep detail I believe the Blinder M25 J15 did better than Blinder M40 (past GOL tests). I could only imagine how a Blinder M45 J15 would have done at GOL 2008. Either way I walked away so impressed that my Wife's SUV will have a BLinder M45 J15 installed! Do not get me wrong I LOVE the LI but one thing that I LOVE about Blinder is its solid past track record for quality. Not only that but it has saved my family over a dozen LIDAR tickets. Torbin Do not mess too much with this J15.

Agreed. Past reliability is a big factor with me too. I''ll be waiting until the TruSpeed upgrade is done before buying again, since the current system is not upgradeable, but I'll definitely be sticking with the Blinder system. Bang for the buck, it really can't hardly be beaten.

I like how they will pay your ticket if you get one. I'm not sure if anybody else does this (?) but there a good brand for sure, they are reliable and well built.

One of the most impressive things at GOL 2008 for me was how well the Blinders and Laser Mask did against the Stalker. I'd purchase a set, but I can't because they are not Team JA-3 approved!

I know that Blinder has lost a bit of credibility due to the entire "stegall incident" (more like debacle!) here, and the controversy surrounding the J11 to J15 switch-over, which has ailenated many of its former and most vocal proponents, here, also hasn't helped things in the recent past......

But when all's said and done, they do have a track-record of solid products, with excellent customer service.

Hopefully, the J15 is Blinder's comeback trick, and that it will continue to build off the POSITIVES of Blinder's past history, and let bygones be, and chalk up lessons learned.

Looking at the Blinder M25 J15 data, and cross-referencing that with the VEIL G4/ZR3 data, one could imagine how well a Blinder M25/VEIL G4 combo would do, particularly on a more profile-friendly vehicle.

Indeed, this is the very combination that a friend of mine in the BL/BP chassis Subaru Legacy community recently purchased. Needless to say, the GOL data contributed much to both our senses of relief.

    One thing:

On RR.net, there are rumors floating around that the M25/35/45 heads have also seen weathersealing issues, particularly in northern climates, with exposure to the harsh winter conditions and road-treatments.

I don't believe I've read anything of this, here, on RD.net, yet.

Anyone here can either confirm/deny this rumor?

That is exactly what I was trying to tell him when he was still here. Stop pimping your product. Let the unbiased results speak for themselves. If he had stopped bombarding us with all those videos, he'd be on solid footing right now. The Blinder M25 performed admirably at GOL 2008. He'd be selling lots of Blinders right now if he hadn't slit his own throat.

    HappyA$$:

I also am heavily looking into a Blinder J15, Veil G4 and Laser-shield combo after seeing the results on such a tough vehicle... compared to what mine will be.

Is there any way to tell if the Blinder is a J15 or a J11 (Besides basing it on the 'word' of the company you are buying from and trusting they don't have any J11's in stock?) When did the J11 stop shipping? If you buy new it shouldn't be much of a concern correct?

Well mine are completly exposed to the rain, like You can easily see them, easily like there very noticble, and I did this on purpose so i would have maximum performance. They stick out from the grill, no leo in VA is going to know what they are except a select few of them.

But ive had them for like 4-6 months and no problems. I think they should be fine.

When you get it just check the serial number on the box and heads that it has J15 in the number and not J11.....Or buy direct from Leon?
