No, it's effective radius is larger than that. This is the car I tested. Again, I only tested it using my PLII. Other testing groups will surely run the new Blinder up against lots of guns. But, it beat my PLII, without Veil.

Sorry if falsing leads to better protection, COUNT ME OUT!!!! The nice thing with my LI and Blinder M20 as jammers is when the are or went off I was for sure getting his by laser.

When I first switch the the V1 I was worried about KA falses of my v995 only detected KA when there was an actual threat. Luckily with POP off on my V1 I have no KA falses

Thanks for being one of the guinea pig testers of the Blinder M27 Sethy

Are we forgeting about LI's sun alert warning when it was innitially launched? I wonder if a firmware update will take care of the issue. Early releases of products always seem to have issues but eventually get fixed

I agree. I have a friend who has the M27 and is experiencing the same issue. I had a choice to buy the M25, but the M27 was going for the same price. Knowing the issue he was having i went a head and bought the M27 knowing that if there is an issue, Blinder will release a firmware update to address the issue.

Once I've installed and tested, i will have more feedback.

Really, I hooked it up to my computer and turned it off as soon as that was possible ALSO the Sunlight Interfearance alert sounded nothing like a the jammer was going offto an actual threat. IF the LI started the SIA alert with the alert siren than that would be an actual false. You won't win an argument with me, happy, I keep is way too real for you.

This is only a question and not a defense for Blinder because I also hate falses but why do people not think it is bad or that it isn't a problem for RD to false but it is bad for a laser jammer to false...All Rd false to sum degree why is that ok with the community but not with a jammer....I am only asking out of curiosity not as a defense...I have notified Blinder and they are already testing the issue.

My point is many innitial launches have issues. We were all fortunate that LI worked them out and we now have a beast of a jammer. We also have LI to thank for hopefully waking up a sleeping giant in Blinda. Healthy competition does wonders to consumers!

Because there are jammers like the M-20's which I have that never false, and have always alerted to real threats. If for example V1 made detector's years ago that never falsed and then all the sudden the new and improved ones did, I think people would be upset.

This kind of remedies the arguemnet of a V1 vs a 9500ix. Some can deal with the falses for that little added protection, or others like it quiet, and are willing to sacrifice a little preformance for the quiet. I have a 9500i, so I like my stuff quiet, personally.

In my opinion, a jammers job should be the last line of defense. I believe it should be up to your detector to attempt for any sort of pre-warning.

My old M-20's never falsed, not once. It alerted to every real laser threat I encountered as well. (minus at GOL w/LA stealth)

I really hope blinder will come out with some sort of fix, but I mean that sounds like more of a hardware issue then software...maybe not.

I have already reset and flashed my blinder, (since i messed it up after install) and it was really simple. But now that opens a new can of worms- if they release a new revision- that just means it will need to be re-tested to make sure that the performance is still there.

I do have high hopes for blinder, this jammer really does appear to be promising a lot, and by the foundation it is being built on, I do believe they have the potential to deliver.
