Default Time for my M47 install

Took some pics today since I finally had time to get ready to install. I plan to reinstall the billet and cut it. Suggestions are appreciated. Waiting to hear from you SS.

I can put two heads in the holes beside where the plate holder used to be. No matter where they go I will have to fabricate brackets.

Either that, or in the gap between the grille and the bumper. Spread that power out to cover as much real estate as possible.

Great spacing on the upper heads! Even with that chrome, I think we're looking at some very good performance out of this system.

I looked at the gap between the bumper but was concerned about body flex. I wondered it it might damage the heads. I have no idea how much flex happens when you drive.

Yeah, I worry about that too. I've seen others put them there, but I don't know how much flex might factor in.

GM doesn't have a very stiff truck frame compared to Ford (stiffest) and Dodge --- its definitely not a place I'd consider on a GM if you drive off road, or experience any poorly maintained roads. Don't know about the front end, but the GM's will deflect 4 inches or more in the bed from one side to the other on sudden bumps or pot holes.

I can't help but think half the "coverage" ability (IR light) provided by the top jammer heads is being wasted on the widshield when the chrome on the front of the vehicle is the biggest job the jammer has to protect.

I think the standard is 18" from the jammer head. (The Mx7 heads may have a larger area)

Just make 4 imaginary 36" circles.

Now, looking at the front of your vehicle, use those 4 circles to "cover" whatever you think needs protecting. (and place one jammer head as close to the center of each imaginary circle as you can.)
