    Default old vs new

    Are there any tests out there comparing the old blinder 45 to the new 47? Is there that much of a difference?

    There is a difference. In testing, an M27 does pretty good on trucks, while an M25 had trouble with a car.

    Not sure if there's been a test specifically pitting an M45 against an M47, though. There probably has been, I just can't remember it (I'm an old man.)
