Radius of coverage on M47 heads

I'm sure it's on here somewhere but I have not been able to find it on search.

Does anyone know the exact radius of the protection area of the heads.

For example, if mounted horizontally, how far to the left and right (in inches) of the head will it receive. Also, how far above and below will it receive.

Reason I am asking has to do with mounting decision. I have a big grille and trying to figure out how to best mount.

i believe it's 18 inches for each head.

18" is the general rule of thumb. It has to do with detection more than area it protects.

At 500' the size of the average lidar gun's beam is 18". Therefore you want your heads to be within 18" of the major reflective targets for optimal performance.

I believe the new Blinder heads actually protect a larger area than 18", but if the beam never hits them they do not alert, so no protection.

If you have everything within 18" of the heads you will be in great shape.
