Having the sensors to the outside makes a huge difference on the M27 series.
We had the same issue when testing the prototypes for BG. I mounted one with the sensor inside and we got PT's galore. Switched it to sensor out and JTG.

Yes Raydee, it is so important to make sure the wires align as in the Blinder Manual.
Just goes to show how important placement and alignment is for all Jammers.
So true i did find changing them to the right way gave really good results !![]()
There is not a top or bottom to a Blinder head. You can flip any way you want as long as the receiver is out closest to the light. Just to be on the safe side and make sure nothing had changed with the M27 heads I confirmed this with Blinder Denmark.
Thank you very much. Tried to tell you this.
For future reference check out this diagram for proper Blinder head orientation.
Blinder head orientation

Really no upside down or right side up.... just a matter of sensors to the inside or the outside. You generally want them to the outside for most vehicles. I have one flipped one way and the other flipped the other so the sensors are on the outside. Doesn't impact it much either way with center mass but makes a huge difference with less PTs when the gun is aimed at the lights and the sensors are on the outside. Its a little tip Category4 gave me after our first testing session. By flipping one of the heads so the sensor was out we went from 250 ft PTs to JTG the next testing session.
Sensor orientation is everything with Blinders. I was shocked at the difference it made with sensors out. Everyone that is running Blinders should go out and verify they have the cables toward the center of the car (see the diagram in the above post by NetStar). I makes a HUGE difference in performance!!
