    Blinder save, NICE.
There's more and more everyday. The more laser use the more saves will be posted.
They are really out collecting revenue, up and down I-95 and now the FL. Turnpike.
Not only marked, today a Impala, Mustang, and two Chevy SUV's.
Get this, FWC running KA and laser at the same time, I guess they all need money.

It's always the same each time I am suprised
by a stealthy close range shot. I start the
whole process of scrambling for the off button
and hitting the brakes; all while hoping for the
best as time starts to crawl.

    And afterward...well...I usually just bask
in the glory of a good setup while my heart
starts to slow back to its normal rate.
Something about the warning tones gets
me all reved up every time.

    Congrats!

Way to go, nice when a plan comes together isn't it. (Good save)

So the M47 gives you 7 or so seconds to get to the posted speed, then switches off?

Then what you have to switch it back on after this?

    Thanks

I looked around for an answer to this question too; couldn't find one.

BlinderGuy, or other, could help us out with this question?

I am assuming that the Blinder software has some type of persistance counter that has to elapse without a laser hit for the jammer to reset itself.

I keep mine set for 7 seconds, but I don't think I have gone over 5 sec for a JTK. So, I have no idea if there is any indication that the jammer has stopped jamming.

The seven seconds gives you time to get to legal speed without looking for the switch. The systems shuts down if the officer is still on you, your going legal speed, smile, drive by as he picks up legal speed.
The system will come back on in less than a minute or flip the switch and it comes back right away.
Now for most of the forum members that I see post here. You will need to program your jammer for 10 seconds or full alert.
I don't care for JTG, except when testing.
Real World seven seconds will save you every time and keeps the fine line between us and them.
Let them pick up legal speed, don't give any reason to get pulled.

I like constant jam because I am able to not panic and react to the threat. It really depends on the person and how they react. If you freak and freeze up when hit with laser then the 7 second jam is good. If you can stay cool and act correctly then constant jam and user controled shut off is best.

Is the 7 second shutoff time all it takes to reset? Or does it need to be restarted to be ready to jam again?
