LEO shooting LIDAR from bridge

Leo was shooting LIDAR from on top of bridge while I was traveling I-43 south on interstate which passes under it. 9500ix alerted briefly (mounted upper left by visor) but blinder did not. I am aware that I need to move my blinder heads up a bit into the grill, but was wondering if the LEO was taking hood, windshield, or roof shots. Possible blind spot? Is this even possible? Overpass shots are DEADLY. Complete blind spot to the system I think from 150ft and under.

IMHO. your heads have to be further out. The must clear the front bumper for any chance. Best spot would be the grill.

Assuming the heads aren't recessed or mounted low. Sure you can shoot a sign, that is 7 ft from the ground and it will bounce straight back to the car and set off the jammer. When an officer is 16ft up shooting hoods and rooflines of cars, it would be pretty easy for a recessed or low mounted jammer to miss the shot. Those heads are mounted too low for the car.

Assuming the heads aren't recessed or mounted low. Sure you can shoot a sign, that is 7 ft from the ground and it will bounce straight back to the car and set off the jammer. When an officer is 16ft up shooting hoods and rooflines of cars, it would be pretty easy for a recessed or low mounted jammer to miss the shot. Those heads are mounted too low for the car.

NO I was shooting signs maybe 35ft in the air. From about 150-200ft I agree ,his heads need to be moved up!

O.K., update...just passed through a nasty speed trap over I-94 northbound. Leo sitting on top of bridge (hwy G) using LIDAR. Results - tagged, tagged again, tagged again. Blinder lit up first followed by 9500ix. As I drove under the bridge I turned and looked at the northbound on ramp and saw 3 leo's sitting like jackals waiting to pounce on their prey. Not me though (thank you blinder). Kept driving and noticed that there must have been four leo's in the hopper originally because one was dealing with a customer. So, back to the original post I started here...very possible that I am such a newbie that I didn't realize that the blinder went off yesterday during my first speed trap encounter. It happened fast and I was expecting the results I got this morning - tag, tag, tag, etc...Needless to say, I am going to move my heads up as all have requested. Thanks for the info for all who responded!!! It was a cool birthday present this morning to see it work.

Thank your lucky stars u were hit three times but this time they probably hit u quite a distance away. Therefore Blinder alerted. Also U did not say the magic word. J T K-JAM THEN KILL.

by tag tag tag I assume you did NOT turn off the jammers. Bad move...
