Anyone else have a group "get together" every week

Pretty much every friday now a couple of my buddies get together and head to Sonic, then usually go to a deserted office park road and well, you know . We are by far the loudest convoy in town. Heres a pic of the usuals:



From Right-Left Andys '71 Cutlass (Stock exhaust, but still loud), Matts '03 Lightning (Headers, Bassani Cat-back full exhaust), Lakes '03 GT (2 Flowmaster 40-series w/ Off-road H pipe; its the best sounding V8 ever), My Navi (1 Flowmaster 40-series Single in-Dual out), and (not visible in this picture) another Matts 88 GT (2 Flowmaster 40-series w/ Off-road X pipe)

The local Mustang club meets monthly, but there's usually a weekend cruise once a month as well..

There's a general cruise in at the Sonic and a Chilli place once a week for hot rods and other kinds of cars.

those are some great pics f_399, yeah, theres this yellow cobra around here that has a flipin Cobra rd on the windshield, just retarded.

my buddies and i are going to hopefully start a club here soon once we get about 10 or so people. theres a few restrictions, you must have a V8 (or more), you must have aftermarket exhaust, and that exhaust must not be Magnaflow. we are anit-Magnaflow.

well if you really want rules, you must chew tobacco, you must listen to either classic rock or country all the time, you must know how to drive a standard (manual), and you must be a confedrate.

Yeah, we have a 'local bike get-together' that I go to... Im sort of the odd one out in the group though.

1st: I am the only person under 35who goes.

2nd: I'm the only person with less then a 1000CC motorcycle.

3rd: I think the only person with under 5 years of experience (there may be one other).

What it is: A bike get together at a local bike shop where we all meet, normally ~15 bikes, but between from10 to 20 is a safe bet on a nice thursday... we go to a local BBQ 'resteraunt' (its a biker bar/BBQ) called 'The Dinosaur BBQ' (extremely famous for some of the best ribs in the North).

Anycase before we leave we all just BS until everyone gets to the shop, and then instead of going straight to the place, we take a 'spirited' ride through various nice roads and twisties for ~1.5hours (give or take depending on factors), before we make it to the place. We eat and just BS for a while there... talk with all the other bikers and then leave.

Its a great time.

And oh man the looks we get are pretty great too... ~15 Superbikes Just cruising.
