Remember four wheel steering (and active suspensions?)? In the 1980's everyone was doing cocaine, including Japanese auto engineers... in the '90's the focus went onto pot and as a result the cars were way mellow.

Yeah I heard some Preludes I think it was the SH types with the ATTS had 4 wheel steering

WOW p8ik8e I would like to see someone fit a I-6 in a new celica. especially a longetudinal I-6.

NO STICKERS thats so lame on ur borthers part wow i would egg that car if i saw it on the street.

Just bore out the cylenders and get new pistons. i jsut did that to my supra cost like 600-700$ and then u get basically a fresh engine. at least the piston part. slap a turbo on that car and u got some real speed
This one's our winner, I think he's decided to bore out the cylinders, cheapest way to go

The best were the Nissans, they had four wheel steering done electronically at the back, they had sonar sensors on the front bumper to analyze the road surface and stiffen/soften the shock absorbers to suit, and of course "boring" technologies like 4-wheel independent suspension, turbocharged engines etc Five years later it was front wheel drive, beam axle at the back, 92 horsepower and $1.99/each shock absorbers...

Get another car you trying to polish a turd. My neighbor bought a 98 prelude 2.0 vtec yo! Its a nice car pearl white. He paid what I paid for my 91 300zxtt.

Hes got headers, intake, exhaust. I can blow him out of the water if I raced him. Granted he could turbo it. I just think its a waste to turbo a honda/any fwd car.

I own 2 turbo fwd's and two turbo rwd's I prefer turbo rwd cars.

    Now a '91 300ZXt that's a nice car

I did always think that the stylists just put a plastic model of the old 300ZX into a microwave and let it run for a few minutes and said "here's the new 300 ZX" though

only real Z that I liked in the LOOKS department is the old S30s I dont really like the Z31 or the Z32 (Whiah both look almost the same from the front), I HATE the Z33, I think Nissan was trying too hard to make a good looking car but in the end made it look like a$$

I will admit that theyre DAM FAST, but they dont really get the job done in Style, and IMO any Z without a Turbo is worthless

Unless it's an old 260 Z with a built Chevy 383 shoved under the hood

Interesting engine on the early S30's. The engine was a Nissan Bluebird 4-cylinder with two cylinders attached. The Bluebird engine was originally produced by Prince (merged with Nissan), under a license for a six cylinder design from Mercedes-Benz. So it ended up bringing the design full-circle

    I thought they were 240Zs

Prince was an interesting little side note, THEY made the Skyline, until Datsun bought um out and took it as their own

There was the 240 Z, then the emissions controls took in and the car was too slow, so they made the 260 Z, then they got worse so they made the 280 Z, then added a bunch of weight for no apparent reason for the 280 ZX (and came out with a hideous 2+2), then the car was really slow so they made the 280 ZX Turbo and etc 240 Z is only one that has any real value today (that and the 90+ 300 ZX).

    Ewwww
