Exactly. Nitrous Oxide is very safe for your car if you do it right and don't greedy. It's the people that don't know how to use it right that give it a bad name.

I know lots of guys running N20 on top of their turbos instead of turning up the boost so they don't put as much strain on their car all of the time.

Arashi, do you plan to use it a lot? Is so, you should just put the money toward other mods because you will just keep dumping money into the bottle.

Oh yeah, and don't let them cops find you with the bottle hooked up.
nah only when I need to or on the strip.....or in case im dumb and need the extra torques to pull me out of something........... I just got sick to my stomach when I could barely outrun a 4th gen Accord (my CL is based off the newer 5th gen accords) off a light one night, it really pissed me off

I just need the power on demand at any given time, i wont abuse it

Nitrous oxide should only be used in the quarter mile.
If your going to use it best to get forged internals.

Get a Turbo, it makes the car faster anyways. NOS isnt all what its set up to be.
If you refer to N2O as NOS, you shouldn't have nitrous. The reason your engine didn't like it was because you didn't know what you were doing or your engine was already compromised before spraying.

    Nitrous is NOT for "beginners."

BTW, NOTHING comes close to nitrous in terms of "bang for your buck." It is great fun, very safe for you engine (if you know what you are doing) and is cheap as hell compared to a blower.

Yes siree. And too much of it will blow the welds off your intake manifold.

Since we're on the FnF topic, check out this hilarious remake if you're bored. -->http://videos.streetfire.net/video/8...50010efe3c.htm

I used nitrous on a weekly basis with no problems at all. the best thing about nitrous besides the big horsepower gain, is when I get rid of the car I just take it off the old car and put it on the new car with minimal mods

    ^ Forced-induction + nitrous, FTW.

Be it for an added punch on-the-roll or even to help start a massive snail on its way from low-down, it's all good. 8)
