good call, when in doubt, call in the professionals.......... but Car Tos would have been my choice......... that way I know its done absolutely correct..... after one experience with a BB installer i swore id only trust a few to do my s**t, and its usually me....... story, kid in the bay didnt know what a simple relay was when I asked to buy one

Or you would have to use a high level output instead of the RCA's. Im not quite shure how they work, or how to hook it up. I had to do that in my Jeep and it sounded good, it was just a PITA.

My ex had that exact setup in her car. Messy bass, but they can easily bump if that's all you want. I'd rather have tight bass over bolts being rattled out any day of the week. But, for free, sounds like you did good until you can upgrade. One note, don't bridge them on the amp. They sound even worse if you bridge them. BB installed hers and I had to rewire half of what they did because it wasn't done correctly.

Also, be careful with BB installing anything. My truck was broken into while I was having it painted at a body shop, stole my stereo (which pisses me off to this day...high end kenwood, though it wasn't brand spanking new, it was wonderful.). So they sent it to BB and bought a low end kenwood because it had "the same features" and had them install it. I had to rewire that too, and the new unit is awful compared to what I had in there. Just don't have another $500 to get it back where I want it.

yeah i always try and shop around for the best price then bring it to a good installer... BB people suck hard at it... Ultimate electronics does a good job from what ive heard as far as large main stream installers go

CT FTW.......... best installs, cleanest and they know what theyre doing..... sure its extra cash, but i dont care........ I still DIY

now as for my bass, I like it tight and crisp, my Alpine does that very well, for a Type-E 10" SVC...... it gives me good bass inside with little outwards projection, and thats good, because my trunklid has this habit of rattling
