Have you checked your pulse recently? :P
haha well Honda's will last forever, however i would never buy one simply because there are way tooo many around, it you want to get something thats realativley cheap and has good gas milage while still sporty go with like a Mazda 3 or at least a Nissan Sentra SE.
Accords are great solid cars (literally, theyre friggin tanks) good mileage, the J30A (V6) puts down good power, but id have the F23A1 (I4), for better mileage, and the fact that its a Honda, it needs a 4 cyl to be a proper Honda, that and also because F-series blocks will take the punishment (except the S2000 F2xC motors, those are just different though), the F23A1s dont give a solid powerband like the older F22B1s, but do a good job for an econo-tuned single cam motor, with VTEC of course
ive never met a person disapointed with their accord, whether its a 5th gen, 6th gen (the one youre lookin at), or the new 7th gens
well, you're decision to go with a v6 accord to save gas compared to your truck leaves me scratching my head. Not that the gas mileage won't be better, but a variety of I4 models just makes infinitely more sense.
I 2nd the Mazda 3, or a Scion tC. Accords are very reliable though, I'll give you that.
well, going from 11.5-14mpg to 24-30+mpg with the v6 while still having a little performance makes since to me. anything better than i'm getting now is a plus. now all i need to do is sell the d@mn thingno one wants a truck at these gas prices.
lol well my 2.5li I4 Spec V cost me 30 bucks to fill up the entire tank with 93 octane premium gas and it gets 25mpg and it would destroy a accord. Well im assuming it would because it already destroyed a 06 GT Tiburon.
I say go with the Mazda 3 (the 2.3li GT version)
I'm not calling BS or anything like that, but...either he sucks at driving, drove an auto or was not "racing."Originally Posted by xXCriticizeXx

To me, that's about as close as they come. One would have to SUCK at driving to "destroy" the other car. The definition of "destroy" to me, in reference to street racing is pulling 5-10+ cars. My guess is that he wasn't racing.

What kills me is when I'm riding with my dad in his car, and some ricer seems to be "racing" (or at least really trying hard, ie you can hear him a mile away) and my dad is just driving normally and still pulls away faster than themIn his big GM sedan
