18" 265 width 40 series Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tires on the 2005 VW GLI. Perfect tires for down here because they're great when it's dry, just as good when it's wet, and I don't have to worry about snow and ice. They have excellent performance on the track and they're quiet on the street. I love them.

17" 245 (front) and 275 (rear) Hoosier racing slicks on the 1992 Porsche 968. Not much to say about them, they're slicks! For serious track use, they're really the only sensible option.

My 6 came stock with Michelin Pilot something-or-others. They SUCKED.

I replaced them with Bridgestone Potenza G009s. Those were better, but still lacked some grip in power turns and were noisy.

Now I am running Kumho Ecsta ASC P235 45 R 17s, and I LOVE them. THey grip the road very tight--better than any other all-season I've used. They're quiet, and they funnel H2O away from the car very nicely.

Expedition came with Contitrac SUV tires. They sucked a$$. Changed them with Firestone Destination LEs. Looked for a good rating tire on tirerack.com then found then for almost the same price at a Firestone place.

A heck of a lot better than the Contitracs. They cut through water puddles rather easily, and have good dry traction with a speed rating of 113. I haven't taken them off-road, so I can't tell you how it would perform. Then again, these are highway tires, so I'm not going to be going for some serious off-roading anytime soon :P

My parent's 01' F250 has the BFgoodrich A/T's. Very good tires. So far, they have around 10-15k miles and no signs of wear. Been to Mexico once, and they stood up very well to a month of the roads over there (nicely paved, badly paved, unpaved, cobblestone, and concrete).

    Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position

I love these tires, the grip threshold is so much higher than the Yokohamas I had on before, I can take corners harder, faster, and still not squeal the tires  .......... then a few days after I got the new tires, I put on a rear strut tower bar, and that really helped it along nicely.... and for something with so much dry traction, its got excellent wet grip and resistance to hydroplaning

Funny, because the Speed6 guys I know who have those HATE them. APparently not so great in winter weather, which you don't have to worry about.

according to Tire Rack, theyve classified it as an Ultra High performance All Season, 2nd only to the Yokohama Advan S4 in its class........... anyways, when I hear Ultra high performance anything tires, I throw winter out the window, thats just how it is, now a regular all season tire I can sort of understand, but not tires lke these

and yes I ususally dont have to worry about it......... but the thing here in Texas is that, when it rains, it rains, and then same goes for winter weather, hell ive got a broken collarbone to show that
