I'd he hesitant to pick up a Mitsu. They are pretty much bottom of the line as far as Japanese cars go. Warranty issues are terrible from everyone I've talked to. Also, they actually considered pulling out of the U.S. market recently because they're doing terribly. If they pull out, imagine what warrany support will be like. They'll leave a minimal number of supply centers/repair centers.
I'd shop around more. The midsize crossover field is huge right now, and I think you could probably find good deals on much better products.
How did you like your other ones?
I think they sell that same model in France with a different grille as a Citroen... for the small SUV like that I also like the new Saturn VUE (looks nice) but I don't know how the leasing payments and the fuel consumption compares. Is Mitsubishi still giving the "sweet-heart deal" like before?
Looks like VW stole Mitsubishi's styling for their new Tiguan.

Thanks for all inputs.
I drive now a endeavor 2wd . After 60,000 miles it still
going strong and well . It is the price of gaz that ticks
my mind to change for a smaller vehicule ...altough
the difference in dollars spent in gaz wont be astronomical.
What I like is the sportronic mode , specially in stop-go traffic ,
I avoid the ''elastic effect'' of a regular auto trannny .

The thing that frustates me is the us/can price for the same model :
$26,000/$31,000.....eughhhhhh why such a discrepancy ?
The consumption is 9li/100kms highway @ 115 kms in 6 th gear .
