Feb. 10 (Bloomberg) -- Honda Motor Co., Japan’s second- largest automaker, will recall 437,763 vehicles globally to repair air bags that can deploy with too much pressure, adding to previous U.S. recalls for the same defect....

i read about this earlier today.. but by doing this its not really taking that much bad rep since i mean toyota just took a really harsh blow..honda will be just fine and besides i think only one person died... well its not much compared to other recalls... american or foreign... for instance ford trucks like the excursion i used to have.. the cruise control switch i think would just randomly catch fire now thats a worse way to die lol

Actually, that's not what would happen. It would generally give off signs of smoldering, and was a slow starting fire. The NHTSA had no fatalities reported.

Well there's the Cobalt power steering issue...

yeah, but i dont think they made it as big portion.. either i didnt watch enough news or they didnt over exposed it. i already knew cobalt is a piece of junk car. i remember, a few years ago, i used to drive GM vehicles into train containers. OMG those cobalt are so crappy built. you couldnt even get me to buy it if they gave me a 50% discount. but that is just my opinion...

I retract what I said about Ford. Apparently someone dying in a house fire prompted a lot of the cruise control stuff. I try not to engage in a conversation without having correct facts (not just opinion when possible) and I had my facts wrong.

yeah i thought i someone had died.. but was too lazy to research such an old topic i remember i was coming out of church one day and there was this excursion caught on fire in the parking lot .. that was the cause but i never got to change my cruise control switch
