Thank God for my Viper Alarm System

Some SOB tried to break into my car about an hour ago. Tilt sensor was triggered. I have the remote start module installed, so my iPhone alarmed, waking me up. No smashed glass, no damage to car, nothing stolen. Just had a CB installed. Looks like I'll have to take down the antenna when not in use and possible radio, which will be a pain because it is semi permanently installed. Viper system was well worth its weight in gold.

Alarm doesn't go off by itself. Wasn't windy. Person be kind of stupid to stick around once the alarm goes off. First time it went off in the nine months I have had it in my car.

Are you planning to actually use your CB every day? Mine only goes along for highway trips. It only takes a couple of minutes to hook up and mount back into the bracket.

Well, technically not, but that doesn't mean the cause was an attempted burglar.

I can't count the number of times I've been at the train station and the rumble of a passing train has set off car alarms in the adjacent parking lot.

Ive seen people with very loud bass systems in cars set off alarms all the time.

The new viper system integration with iPhone is an awesome idea but very expensive. Glad to see it saved you. For most houses, the range of the viper 5900 pager is good enough to alert.

I had my CodeAlarm go off last week around 2AM. Nothing was stolen, but it got me very worried for a few minutes.
