Radar Help..?

I dont know much about radar detectors and I just have a quick question. If i'm driving the down street, will my radar detector detect police officers that are driving nearby. I have a COBRA PRO 9380 PRO9380. If so what settings do I put mine to? please help

Remember Radar Detectors only detect Police Radar! If there is a cop driving down the road but doesn't have his radar on your Radar Detector will not go off.

Keep your Cobra in City mode in the city and Highway mode on the highway. Turn OFF VG2 and Spectre Detect as when these are on it causes falses on other Radar Detector users which is very annoying.

first of all... word of advice: get rid of the cobra, they are no good

there are other detectors under $200 that are much better then a cobra, whistler, bel....

I would reccomend a Whistler Pro 73($135.00), Bel 895($199.99), Bel 795($70.00 maybe reccomend????)
