Don't get it. .

it is a decent detector of constant on. But won't ever save you from a cop running instant on over a hill.

In a dead on flat test you might get 1-2 miles. But in a real alert - half mile at best is all I've ever seen with it.

Basically its a nice detector if you'd like to know if a cop has his radar on.

But for ample warning to slow down. Not a chance.

well i cant retract my bid so if i win it i win it,anyone else got an opinion on it ,if im going like 90 on a highway and its 55 or 65 zone,would i have enough time to stop?

No. Not at all. If you're going to speed that much you'd want a top 3. A Whistler might barely catch it.

A Cobra is good (most of the times... not even always) for going 10 over and knee-jerk slam the brakes if the detector makes a PEEP.

My Cobra when "reliably" detecting Ka band constant on will detect it when an oncoming cop is about 5 cars away, a stationary cop is 300-500ft away. Other times it is tone deaf, and I could be following a cop seeing that his radar gun is on and being operated and not a peep.
