Stuck with the Cobra!

Well, my gf took a trip and borrowed my Whistler 695 because I wanted her to have the best possible protection against any possible quick triggers. She fell in love with the detector and won't give it back. Well, actually, I don't have the heart to take it back. So for now she is using my 695.

So now, I have the 9960G to use. It isn't doing badly though, had a lot of radar encounter yesterday against 34.7 and 35.5 and the Cobra did a great job. Still, all of the falsing does get on my nerves at times. Later on I am just going to get a Pro 78 SE(or possibly a redline! ) and let the gf use the 695.

I'm going to get a camcorder and start recording my encounters with the detectors I use. You all should see some 695 and 9960G videos within the next few months.

Oh, it's not that I think that the Cobra is comparable to the big boys, it is just doing well in its own right.

I still say you should sell all your detectors for a Belscort or get a refurbished 8500.

I wouldn't have to sell my detectors to afford any of the high end detectors. I'm considering the Escort Redline but since I'm about to move I don't want to drop the money. I like collecting detectors in general so selling the ones I have now really are not an option for me.
