That was a friend that I sold an XRS9700 to. The radar was stationary and on a fairly flat road. I personally saw it give about nearly 10 against oncoming Ka moving radar. Maybe it was just a factory freak.
I've had similar warning times on highway 401 in Ontario with K and Ka Band with my 9700. All encounters were constant on coming in the opposite direction. RD mounted high.
