See if Roy can set you up with something or look for a pre-POP BEL 940.

is the 940 ne good and how much is it?
At the price range you posted earlier, your best bet is used from eBay. The BEL 940 performs nearly as well as a BEL 985 but is missing firmware features. They are electronically and physically identical.
You should still see if Roy can set you up for a little more, though.
