How many of you would be willing to meet up someday to do some testing?

It's just an idea I'm toying with(since all the other testing sites seem so far away :P ). We could get a lidar gun to test some setups and what not. Location could somewhere in Orlando(since it's rather central...and I live here :P ) but it could be anywhere really. It could be something to do on a weekend(I get bored sometimes.)

If enough people are willing to do it, I could start looking for a suitable test site.

yea thatd be awesome but my current RD aint worth nuttin really.. it doesn't pickup laser and i've never really tried out its radar range.

In a few months i will be getting a good RD.

its on my signature. Its an "Early warning" radar bought in the early 90's. Still definitely picks up your normal x, k, ka bands but I have no idea how good.

The testing could be done somewhere more South if it is convenient for the majority of the people.

i'm about an hour and a half north of tampa on the west side. o-town's pretty far for me i'd like to go, i have a mid-range RD but kinda far...can you move a little closer?

i need some input on this whole subject in general and products that actually WORK. not sure if you guys listen to the radio but i've heard a LOT lately on a radio station i listen to 101.9 and they have been advertising about the phazer II. ironically it was AFTER i got my laser ticket. so i got on the net for some reasearch about that product, come to find out the thing is complete GARBAGE and i'm "better off putting a cardboard box on my dash". it also lead me to radarroy's page and a couple others that appear to be credible


but anyway back to the OP topic. i'd like to go but it's kinda far and EDIT: (PRIVACY CONCERNS) i really can't afford to get anything there and back...lol i'd probably set my CC to PSL the whole way there and back cause EDIT: (PRIVACY CONCERNS) has scared me straight except this last run in with FHP and laser.


kind of off-topic what is your range for your speeds depending on the area and PSL? i think i may be pushing my limit too much according to reading the posts around here more than i should and i'm curious now what the most is you guys do above PSL. i know 20+ is mandatory jail time but the LEO still can decide (experienced this, i wasn't actually doing it but he said i was, hence the "break" on his part) and 30+ regardless of LEO decision they'll do jail time and it's like felony charges.

i'm guessing 6-12 over PSL?
