Default Laser Jammers GOL 2008 Being Tested

    LI

Blinder M45 J11 (this is what was available to purchase a few weeks ago and still is no J15 yet)

    ZR4

    Laser Mask

    Laser *

PASS Standard (we have not decided 2 head or 3 head but 3 head is standard)

    LPP Dual Head

    AL G8 Dual Head

All I will say is that we are taking it to the next level as far as WORST CASE scenario. If you guys thought other years we were tough.........wait until this year. If a jammer does DESCENT in this test I would consider it BAD ass

This list will be changing as time goes on
RIP Duncan my BELOVED black lab son 8/7/99-3/23/11. I will miss you DEARLY.

Cool. Laser * and the Mask. Now I can finally validate my purchases and lift my head high when others laugh at me wearing the Zoro mask while I drive. 8)

Seriously, though, I am interested in seeing these "unknowns" properly tested, but in terms of worst case scenarios, my money is on the LI.

I saw in another post that you will be using the same vehicle (Jeep) as in past tests. I was wondering if the testing will be similar enough that folks who own older jammers (ZR3, AL G7) will be able to interpret how much better the current generation of jammers are than what they currently have?

Obviously one of the questions folks would like to be answered by the GOL tests is if they are starting from nothing, which jammer should they buy. I would think that this would be job #1, and if time for other stuff is limited, this would come first.

I also think for many in this forum who currently have a jammer, another question is which of these jammers (if any) merit the cost of an upgrade from what they are currently using?

Less important I think, would be to see how much of a difference in performance exists between the prototype LI tested last year and the retail LI available now, or the older Blinder compared to the newer Blinder (if available), or the ZR4 without Veil compared to the same vehicle with Veil applied and no ZR4, and then with Veil and ZR4.

I really appreciate and admire GOL for their ability to collect the resources to do these kinds of tests, the motivation and drive to get them completed, and the goal of not letting industry and economic bias and chicanery affect the methodologies and results. 8)

Or manufacturer recomendation... But for some jammers there is none...

Please use a dual head so all diode jammers will be equal

I wonder if you can test the ZR4 beforehand and see whether 2 heads is better than 3, and use the best case for the main test.

Last but not least, a big thank you to all of you

    happya$$,
Is it possible to test the LPP cbox with pass heads, or/and LPP heads with pass cbox? I was just curious since many can upgrade from the LPP to the PASS without buying the whole system. I believe the pass is also compatible with the AL system as well.
