Default ? about the 2008 Laser Jammer test

I was trying to figure out if you guys used a 2 or 4 head Laser Mask system in that test.

Every jammer tested was done so using only 2 sensors.

I don't think the cars battery could support the number we would have needed for JTG.

For the cost of a Blinder M25 you could purchase a Laser Mask 4 head.

For the cost of the LI you could get a Laser Mask 6head.

Personally I am willing to bet if the test was done to factor in costs the Laser Mask 4 head would have done a decent job.

This test using 2 heads for all jammers is one of the most biased GOL laser jammer test I have seen

That was my line of thinking, if two heads did almost as good as a Blinder and better than a Zr4 then the 4 head system seems like it would be a good value. I don't really know much about Laser Mask they do seem to be really inexpensive, I wonder if they have reliability issues. There is just not alot of info out there on them, which is concerning.

I don't remember but I think it was based on wanting to keep the sensors in the same place, thus, trying to further eliminate another variable in placement. With the Blinder it wouldn't have mattered since only certain censors fire at certain times, I don't recall the specifics about the laser mask.

Also you have to remember for a real world install, 4 head systems for most vehicles are not practical based on the size. Sure you can do it like the tard blinder salesman who mounted them on the fender of the Mercedes right in front of the headlight. Yeah that can be done, but it's not practical.

Another factor was the Escort ZR4. At the time it was only offered as a 2 head system. If we had only used two zr4 heads, then you couldn't compare it's led performance to the other led models.

By keeping the limit to 2 heads, you are showing the units true power to cost, thus IMO the less heads to work with, the greater chance for success in the real world.

    The next consideration was cost.

All in all I think it was our best test to date, and I stand by the results.

I thought the ZR4 has always been a three head system two for the front one in the back just like the ZR3 was.

I think he just means the two that are supposed to be used for the front. If the test were testing four heads up front... then what would be the option with the ZR4?
