I had a great time today. I learned alot from everyone that attended. I learned firsthand how mediocre the ZR4s really are . I am going to try and reposition the front heads and see what improvement that makes, but I suspect I will be in the market for updated laser defense later this year. I've seen how effective the Laser Interceptors are. Does anyone have any test results for the Blinder M47s?

My guess it your ZR4 heads were too far apart. I'm theorizing that they need to be closer together to perform better overall. At the very least they should JTG on center mass.

I definitely need to move the location of the ZR4 heads. My speed was picked up at ~1200 feet. Part of the problem is the location of the heads and also that they are not level or square with the front of the vehicle. Your assessment that the heads are too far apart is spot on. Also, my front plate is not centered on the car, but is attached to where my tow hook would be attached. This merely complicates the install. I may have to rethink where to locate the front plate in conjunction with positioning the heads. After all, I need to be more stealthy. I also need to call Escort this week and request a replacement rear head.
