Lol, yes. I absolutely hate when that happens. I've never had an engineer motion me to find a different route, but I have had trains go about 3 mph with me waiting for about 20 minutes, then come to a stop. It's frustrating to say the least.

trains will go really slow for a number of reasons. railroads order train crews to pace themselves if their is a delay ahead, to save fuel, prevent theft,crossing protection,speed restriction and more.
