Think of it as Road Karma in Action
So I'm on the (long, sweeping, curved) transition ramp from the EB 133 to the SB 241; my speed: ~80 MPH. Up ahead is a jalopy landscaper pickup truck, which is (of course) going slowly. In the left lane next to him is a black 7 series. For some reason, the driver of this Ultimate Driving Machine is too much of a pussy to take the curve at full speed, so he has slowed to match the pickup truck (~55 in a 65 zone). I have to slow to avoid rear-ending this LLB.
At the end of the transition ramp, the rightmost lane becomes an exit to the cash toll plaza, and the left lane becomes the rightmost of three through FasTrak lanes as the transition ramp merges with the SB 241. Of those three lanes, the rightmost two lanes are occupied by large dump trucks and other traffic which is already on the 241. So of course Mr. LLB wants to immediately change lanes to get around the trucks. Unfortunately, there is another car already in the middle lane, which he avoids via a last-second swerve.
Meanwhile, I merge in smoothly behind all of this and head over to the left lane to pass the trucks. Just behind me is a whole cluster of traffic which keeps Mr. LLB pinned down in the right lane behind the lumbering trucks. The LLB remained trapped in that cluster**** as long as I was able to observe.
